Smartzio takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy was created to ensure the confidence of all visitors and customers of/to this Web Site.

1. Types of Information Collected:

In order for you to access certain services offered via the Site, Smartzio requires you to provide information that personally identifies you. Personal information may include data such as your name, mailing and e-mail addresses. If you communicate with Smartzio by e-mail, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.

2. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information

While Smartzio does collect Personal Information for internal use, this data will not be shared with any third party except for company purposes. This data will not be used to identify, track or assemble your behavior. Smartzio will endeavor to keep your Personal Information private unless such disclosure is necessary to:

(a) comply with a court order or other legal process;
(b) protect our rights or property; or
(c) enforce our Terms of Service.

3. A word about Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data that consists of a text only string that gets entered into the memory of a browser and is stored on your computer's hard drive. Although each browser is different, most browsers will allow users to establish their own preferences to accept cookies, reject them or notify you when a cookie is set. In the event you set your browser to reject all cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of all Smartzio offerings.

Smartzio uses cookies in order to make it more convenient for you to visit our site. By using cookies, you will not have to re-enter information to have access to certain information in the event you decide to re-visit our site.

4. User Choice Regarding Collection, Use and Distribution of Personal Information

You may choose not to provide us with any Personal Information. In such an event, you can still access and use much of the Site; however you will not be able to access and use those portions of the Site that require your Personal Information.

6. Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting such change, update or modification on the Site. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Enrollment Policy - Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy - No Shows - Retake Policy - General Terms

*** Enrollment Policy ***

Class enrollment is accepted on a first pay first served basis. Payment may be made with credit card, check or a company purchase order upon credit approval. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you receive an enrollment confirmation from Smartzio.

*** Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy ***

-Cancellation-

A student may cancel from or reschedule a class that he / she enrolled for. Cancellations made 5 or more business days prior to the class start date will incur a charge of $100 registration fee plus a $50 processing fee. Refunds will be issued on cancellations made less than 5 business days from the class start date will be considered on a case by case scenario at the discretion of Smartzio. No refunds are issued on reschedules.

-Reschedules-

Reschedules made between 5-10 business days prior to the class start date will incur a $100 Rescheduling Fee. Reschedules made less than 5 business days before the class start date will result in forfeiture of 25% of the class tuition fees. Reschedules made less than 3 business days before the class start date will result in forfeiture of 50% of the class tuition fees. If you cancel after rescheduling, no refunds will be issued. Only one reschedule is allowed, and the rescheduled class must be taken within six months of the originally scheduled class date. If the same class is not offered in the future, no refund will be issued.

*** No Shows ***

Failure to attend a scheduled class without a written notice prior to the start date of the course will be considered a "no show" and may result in forfeiture of the full course price. Smartzio, at its own discretion, may allow a refunds to a no show student on a case by case scenario. No show students may be allowed to attend another session of the same or lower priced course.

*** Retake Policy: ***

Smartzio allows you to re-take a class that you have paid for at no extra cost to you. Note that only one free re-take is allowed per student, per class, and the re-take must be completed within six months of the start date of the class you paid for. Further, you will be offered the class ONLY if the class is currently being offered, and there are available seats in the class.

*** General Terms ***

1. This agreement is the entire agreement between Client and Smartzio, and supersedes all previous oral and written agreements and discussions. This agreement may be changed only by an agreement in writing between Smartzio and Client. Client has read and understood this agreement and has not entered into this agreement in reliance on any promises made by Smartzio or any of its counselors or partners.

2. Client agrees to comply with Smartzio’s rules and procedures, including, but not limited to absences, tardiness, honesty & proper conduct.

3. Although Smartzio will make its best efforts to notify students in the event that any class has been canceled or postponed, it is the student's responsibility to contact Smartzio to confirm his or her attendance in the class at least two business days before the scheduled class. Smartzio is not responsible for student's / client's travel, lodging, incidental expenses or other losses or damages incurred if the student does not confirm his or her attendance in the class, and the class has been cancelled or postponed.

4. Day classes are generally held from 9 AM to 5 PM. Class times for Bootcamps and combos are determined by Smartzio’s announced schedules. All course schedules are subject to change in start and completion dates. Students will be duly notified.

5. Smartzio reserves the right to postpone training in the event of natural disasters, Acts of God, labor disputes, equipment failure for a maximum of 30 days. Students will be duly notified and compensated if applicable.

6. Smartzio reserves the right to withdraw a scheduled program if the registration is insufficient to make up a class.

7. If meals are provided to Client, Smartzio does not guarantee that the meals will meet Client's special dietary requirements. If a Client has special dietary requirements, they are responsible for providing their own food during the duration of any course attended at Smartzio.

8. If any particular provision of this agreement shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the other provisions hereof, and this agreement shall be construed in all respects as if such invalid or unenforceable provision was omitted.

COPYRIGHTS

The name Smartzio and the Smartzio Logo are protected under government copyrights law.

Smartzio is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect our users to do the same. Smartzio, in its sole discretion, may terminate the accounts or access rights of Clients who violate others' intellectual property rights.
